About quality and texture - The hyper air cleaner type 1 from Hot Lap is made from a multi-layered cotton gauze filter with a stainless steel elbow with a breather hose fitting and temperature sensor fitting, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Very unique in it's design which offers not only performance gains but also an incease in overall appeal. The positioning of this hyper air cleaner type 1 is perfect for allowing the addition of performace parts like oil cooler and catch can. Products to buy together - Another product to purchase when looking to further increase the performance on the Monkey 125 would be a full exhaust system, which together will allow for a freer air flow.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the air filter kit is a simple task that took 0.7 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to gain aceess, remove the original air box and secure the air filter kit to the throttle body.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Hot Lap sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the hyper air cleaner type 1 is priced higher.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for hyper air cleaner type 1, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the hyper type 1 air cleaner from Hot Lap, the intake pipe is made from stainless steel and the kit includes stainless steel band clamp to secure the silicone hose and a mesh air filter. About the feeling of use: Due to the shaping and polished stainless steel pipe this air intake is the best looking intake for the Monkey 125 and the open area created by removing the Honda air intake now gives the Monkey 125 more of a Z50 look. Products to buy together: An additional filter would also be desirable to purchase along side the hyper type 1 air cleaner, I prefer to vent the crankcase to atomsphere so a filter with an 8mm mount is needed. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about three quarters of an hour. Most of that time is taken removing the Honda air intake, the air cleaner slips straight onto the throttle body and the intake air temperature sensor fits into the pipe and connects to the main wiring harness with the included extension harness. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: high costing but you are getting great quality items included in this kit for a very reasonable price as compared to the Brock’s ram air intake kit which is great quality also but at a much much higher price. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: When deciding on an air intake also take into consideration if you will install an oil cooler in the future as not all air intakes are compatible with all high mounted oil coolers due to the available space.

The process was completed in 60 minutes with a little difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, More expensive then most air cleaner kits availbale for the Monkey 125 but I consider it worth the money for this hand crafted part and the unique styling that suits this motorcycle so well.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems plus there is an approx wait of 6 weeks for the part to be manufactured so be prepared to wait.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Hopefully Hot Lap now includes a plug and play extension for the air intake sensor but if not they can be purchased elsewhere to minimise the problem I had on install.
