seat cover fit great and loops over each end of seat for easy installation. No matter how much stretching and how many staples I used, there's a couple wrinkles. The color looks good, but doesn't match OEM. It's a little darker.Lots of grip ! It took a couple days at the to get used to it. Night and day difference from stock.Use 6-8mm staples when you install or else it doesn't stick
It took two large people about an hour to complete the reupholstering. It is very difficult and time consuming for an amateur to put it up neatly by himself unless he has Air Tucker or someone to help him. This time it was a cheap Tucker 2000 yen or so that I used. You'll want to get on it as soon as it's strung up nicely.View Detail
[How is it used? The OEM surface skin was cracked, so I had to reupholster it. Used for commuting and forest road touring
Was the one you received as per Image? I have not used any other Leather other than this one. It is good for me personally. I think that there is no doubt as for the quality because it is a manufacturer that makes exclusive covers such as Motocrosser.
Was the installation difficult? Since it is a Universal Product, you need to do a lot of research and devise a way to make it work. I think it's for people who want to try it for themselves, or who have the experience and don't want to waste time outsourcing. If you try to do it only for the purpose of lowering the labor cost, you may think that it would have been better to send it to a contractor. 。 When stretching, be careful that the fabric only stretches in one direction. Align the direction of extension with the direction of travel, or Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) I think the way to put it up will change depending on the direction you match it to. I call the direction of growth Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) I stretched it in the direction and as a result it stretched good without any wrinkles.
How was your experience with it? The OEM epidermis was hardened, so it was smooth, and it was easy to move the Position without being aware of it, but This Cover is a non-slip GripperType, so you'll feel like you're sitting back down consciously. The only thing that makes it difficult to use is that you don't have to grip your knee as much as you should because you feel like you can hold on when accelerating and decelerating. There are no seams, so you don't have to worry about water leakage.
[Included Parts:were they on? There is no Instruction Manual, so it is a product that you should research and think about by yourself. At a minimum, you will need a tool (Pliers, Slotted screwdriver, etc.) to remove the needle that holds the skin in place and a Tucker and Staple needles are required. It is convenient to have Large Threshold DoubleClip for temporary fixing.
I used a Tucker from a certain Daso that is famous in some parts of the world. The needle is MAX. Lately I've been wondering what the dcm electric tucker is like!
[Was there anything that disappointed you? I guess I could have used some information about the one direction of extension and which way to use it, but It's not so much a disappointment as it is a conviction and enjoyment, including the ingenuity therein.View Detail
Reason for purchase The normal seat has a hole in it and it absorbs water. I bought it to deal with the Urethane inside as soon as possible because it was going to be torn apart. I was hoping it would be sooner than later because the actual hole was 2017WAX old man. Three years have passed.
Reupholstering work First of all, I'll briefly explain how you will perceive it depending on your experience with reupholstery. I'm new to reupholstering, I've reupholstered twice in Total. 1st time... WR250XNormal Seat Cover was peeled off once, and Normal Seat Cover was reattached again by shaving the Urethane of NORMAL in the low footpegSeat style (Manual Tucker). 2nd... KLX125SPIRAL High Seat Replacement... Because there was animation, this was referred to, but because Spec. of Seat cover had changed, because it made a slight mistake and redoed several times, the hole of Tucker has been vacant for a lot of failures. (Air Tucker)
The reupholstering process began as anxious as ever. You will need to adjust the air pressure and the specs of the tucker bullets, etc. because we used the Air Tucker this time. If the air pressure is high, it will punch out the seat cover, and if the legs of bullets are long, the legs of bullets may come out on the surface where the urethane of both sides of Seat is thin. We recommend you to check the spec. of Air Tucker when you purchase it because some of the Air Tucker's spec. cannot be used with the legs less than 10mm in length. The bullets used in the OEM were 3-4mm, I believe. When the adjustment is finished, temporarily fix the upper and lower Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Tucker to the front of the Seat.:Pair (for Left and Right) in turn stopped towards the back. If the sagging occurred, I pulled it back again from where it had returned slightly and stopped it. However, I punched out two parts of the seat cover due to the air pressure adjustment failure and the blank shot. Quantity every time:Pair (for Left and Right) It was a Large oddity to pull on the even etc. and also to pull on the front and back without any slack. The Seat coverBody is different from the previous models in that there is quite a bit of room between the place where you hit it with the Tucker and the place where you pull it with your fingers, and it was quite easy to pull it.
Effects I haven't ridden it in bad weather, so I don't know how well it works in extreme conditions. On normal courses and riverbeds, the Grip is frankly better than the Normal seat. When I tightened Seat with my thighs on the climbs of the gully and the steep climbs at Standing, it was hard to move backwards. I had to use my arms to hold on to my body as it was being taken backwards, but the rate of that was reduced and the Stamina in my arms lasted longer.
Current state The current state is not slippery enough, but I wanted to add a grip on the shape of the seat cover in addition to the grip on the material.
It's not this year's model, but I've used it. It's very good, Tough for the price, it was Black, but it didn't lose its color and didn't tear for a few years. I was able to use it. The point of installation is to use the shortest possible length of the Table. When you use Tucker, I think there are many settings that use more than 10? The worst thing that can happen to you if you hit it in the corner is that it goes through and sticks in your ass. I've been using the Air Tucker of MAX. 10 and up. Gun of the Gun, but I use the 8mm long S-Table at my own risk. It's not a problem at all. It's a bit expensive, but if you use a Stainless Steel S-table, it's more rust-free. Good.View Detail
My car is Yamaha YZ125X I felt a large change when I was standing and cornering It feels solid! It will stabilize your buttocks! These are the items I'm glad to have added The Seat cover of NORMAL is not peeled off as it is, but covered it from the top and stuck it There was no problem to do There is a sense of security that allows you to return to NORMAL at any time (^^)View Detail
Previous reviews mentioned that the tool got damaged. It has a design flaw. Similar tools have addressed this issue. You can fix it by drilling small grooves; the locking bolt will fit into these grooves, allowing for long-term use without damage.I bought this tool for wheel seals and suspension seals. I have a different model for pulling seals, but I bought this one just in case I need it. It has found its place in my tool kit. I use Daytona tools, and with their Japanese quality and price, you can choose them without hesitation.View Detail
I was hesitant about buying this simple tool, thinking it might be a waste of money. If you've got a bike you NEED this tool to easily remove the dust seals WITHOUT damaging them so you can grease the actual inner fork seal. So glad I bought this and it's heavily made too. It's reasonable for its price. I recommend it!View Detail
I bought this gasket scraper before; it’s more practical and durable than a classic sharp blade or utility knife. I gave it as a gift to a friend who really liked it. It truly looks high-quality and stays sharp. Thanks to Webike for offering it at a good price.View Detail
I use the metal tool for the front suspension seals. I bought it to replace the piston ring of the rear suspension. I tried installing the ring without this tool, and it got damaged. I found the most affordable option on Webike. When I disassemble the suspension for maintenance, I will also replace the piston ring.View Detail
Set the depth indicated on the metal tube as required, then pull out any excess oil to meet factory oil height specification. The markings on the tube were most helpful to do that. Having only used it on one pair of fork legs, I can't really address its long term durability but it seems like it would continue to work for several more sessions.edit; My feelings are a bit mixed about this tool. It is very simple to use, reasonably priced, and nice to have. But when using it, the plunger mechanism got stuck several times and was shockingly hard to free up. This is very odd but it felt like the steel tube got clogged and yet I was using new, 5W oil and there were no impurities. The rubber plunger inside the syringe is so tacky, it?s hard to pull. At times I pull so hard I?m concerned it may give, flinging fork oil everywhere. View Detail
