Tighter Look with A Teardrop Tank: SR400 Custom

GOODS's SR400

SR400-1978.jpg

The first generation of the SR400 was introduced in 1978 and remained in production for more than 40 years. The styling has not changed significantly since 1978, and the engine, in particular, continued to use the kick type until 2021. The simple, rhythmic thump-thump sound is synonymous with the SR. It is a masterpiece with a sense of weight, brilliance, and warmth that can never be expressed by resin.

Due to its potential for modification, the UJM bike SR400 has not faded with time. Today, we bring you a Yamaha SR400 custom by GOODS.

Bodyworks

The teardrop vintage tank has been popular for 15 years with its slim shape to flow with the seat, and the black color gives the SR a tighter look.

Café racer, Tracker or Chopper, whichever you are, the compact FRP seat fits all styles well.

Handle

The flat track handlebar, a replica of the handlebar first released by GOODS in 2003. The stylish handlebar part was achieved by side-mounted gauges.

The side-mounted meter kit is co-tightened to the base plate.

Electrical

This is a bates style 5.75" bottom-mounted headlight. Moderated size and a color scheme that contrasts with the black bike body and chrome rims.

A compact and classical tail light equipped.

Intake & Exhaust

For the exhaust, the end design enhances the classical look of the megaphone with a tapered cone shape in a tasteful spatula squeeze.

The inside is a straight structure + molded wool with a tried-and-true inner baffle that increases power throughout the entire range, especially in the mid to low speed range of daily city riding, up to high rpm. Injection bikes have more power without fuel adjustment.
